Travel Bucket list......someday,someway!!
Well, it's always been my dream to travel around the world.I love food, absorbing various cultures and learning languages. In fact, I always believe that the phrase "Die Grenzen meiner Sprache bedeuten die Grenzen meiner Welt " is so so true.Translated, it means-The limits of my language are the limits of my world.
Funnily enough so far, in the 37 years of my life, I haven't had the opportunity to travel as much as I would have liked to!Funny because that seems to be the easiest thing in the world to do for most people but I just haven't been able to.Why?Well,I guess life just got in the way :) But doesn't mean I've given up on the dream.
When I was a little girl, I used to own a scrapbook. I used to cut out pics,trivia,information etc about different countries from various magazines available(the internet wasn't really popular back then!) and would dream of doing all of that someday. Unfortunately between childhood and adulthood, that precious scrapbook got lost and all I have is memories of it. So just struck me,why not do it here now?Have a bucket list, do some research,jot it down and someday when it does happen, tick it off! After all, this is a blog of oddities and all mine so I could do what I want with it!
So here are the top 30 countries, in no particular order, on my bucket list so far and hopefully I'll add some more once I can think of more and I'm going to research one country/city a day and post whatever I find.Although I have been to some of them, I don't think I've been there or done enough(if you know what I mean!)
