Happy birthday to me!

5th day of the 5th month!Time to celebrate.Well I almost didn't. My birthday this year has been so funny.First I decided I would throw this grand party where I called precisely 5(well 10 in total including spouses)which didn't work out and I won a VIP table for a party at a club and guess how many people I could take with me?Yep 5! but there was a reason I couldn't have my party right?So I invited 2.When we arrived ,take a wild guess what my table number was?If you guessed 14,you are correct.We somehow ended up ordering 5 rounds of drinks and 2 platters of food(which btw were priced at 5 rials each!!) so the number 5 has been very very prominent this birthday(spent 25 rials on clothes!) I love how mysteriously the universe works so cant wait to see what unfurls in this 5 story.

Till then I end this with 5 promises I make to myself this time:

1)I promise to love and respect myself a little this year and listen to my heart more often aka trust my instincts.
2)I promise to be grateful to myself, my being,for taking care of me all the time and take care of myself -diet,exercise and pamper myself when I can.
3)I promise to try out new food and cook more often.
4)I promise to write more often.
5)I promise to not give in to the negativity around me and be kind to people who deserve it.
